SIBO $250

(Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth) Breath Testing

SIBO profiles are non-invasive breath tests which capture exhaled hydrogen (H2) and methane (CH4) gases following patient ingestions of a lactulose solution to evaluate bacterial overgrowth of the small intestine.

Symptoms of SIBO are non-specific, encompassing abdominal pain/distention, diarrhea, and flatulence. Conditions commonly associated with SIBO include IBS, IBD, Celiac Disease, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, Rosacea, Parkinson's Disease, and Obesity.

Risk factors for development of SIBO include structural/anatomic issues, motility disorders, organ system dysfunction, elderly age and various medications (recurrent antibiotics, PPIs) that alter the gut microflora populations. In general, clinical management of the SIBO patient involves antimicrobial therapy, prokinetic agents, nutrient supplementation, dietary interventions, and treatment of comorbid conditions. ~GDX.com

Includes testing, interpretation, and a plan of action based on your results.

Neurotransmitters Testing $329

Neuro Basic Profile: Urine

Urinary neurotransmitter testing provides an overall assessment of the body's ability to make and break down neurotransmitters and are representative of whole-body levels. Neurotransmitters are secreted all through the body, in neurons of both the central and peripheral nervous systems. The enzymes, cofactors and precursors in neurotransmitters metabolism in general are the same in both nervous systems. Alterations in urinary neurotransmitter level assessed in urine provide important clinical information and may be associated with many symptoms including cognitive and mood concerns, diminished drive, fatigue and sleep difficulties, cravings, addictions and pain. Associations between urinary neurotransmitter level and health conditions may provide valuable insights as part of a comprehensive health assessment.

Useful for:

  • Mood Concerns (depression & anxiety)

  • Diminished energy/fatigue

  • Insomnia

  • Cognitive concerns (forgetfulness, inattention, brain fog)

  • Addiction and dependency

  • Obsessions and cravings

  • Chronic illness and immune deficiency

  • Pain

  • Low libido and sexual dysfunction

Includes testing, interpretation, and a plan of action based on your results.

Toxin Profile 173 $279

Non-Metal Chemicals Urine Test

Every day, we are exposed to hundreds of toxic chemicals through products like pharmaceuticals, pesticides, packaged foods, household products, and environmental pollutions. As we have become more exposed to chemical laden products and to toxic chemical in food, air, and water, we have been confronted with an accelerating rate of chronic illnesses like cancer, heart disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, chemical sensitivity, Autism spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, autoimmune disorders, Parkinsons's disease and Alzheimer's disease. Expose to environmental pollutants has been linked to many chronic diseases.

Mosiac Diagnostics has created GPL-TOX, a toxic non-metal chemical profile that screens for the presence of 173 different toxic chemicals including organophosphate pesticides, phthalates, benzene, xylene, perchlorate, diphenyl phosphate, ethylene oxide, acrylonitrile, and more. This profile also includes Tiglyglycine (TG), a maker for mitochondrial disorders resulting from mutations of mitochondrial DNA. These mutations can be caused by exposure to toxic chemicals, infections, inflammation, and nutritional deficiencies.

Includes testing, interpretation, and a plan of action based on your results.

Organic Acids Test (OAT) $379

Nutritional & Metabolic Profile

The Organic Acids Test (OAT) offers a comprehensive metabolic snapshot of a patient's overall health with 76 makers. It provides an accurate evaluation of intestinal yeast and bacteria. Abnormally high levels of these microorganism can cause or worsen behavior disorders, hyperactivity, movement disorders, fatigue and immune function. Many people with chronic illnesses and neurological disorders often excrete several abnormal organic acids in their urine. The cause of these high levels could include oral antibiotic use, high sugar diets, immune deficiencies, acquired infections, as well as genetic factors.

Our OAT also includes markers for vitamin and mineral levels, oxidative stress, neurotransmitter levels, and is the only OAT test to include markers for oxalates, which are highly correlated with many chronic illnesses.

If abnormalities are detected using the OAT, treatments can include supplements, such as vitamins and antioxidants, or dietary modification. Upon treatment, patients and practitioners have reported significant improvement such as decreased fatigue, regular bowel function, increased energy and alertness, increased concentration, improved verbal skills, less hyperactivity, and decreased abdominal pain. The OAT is strongly recommended as their initial screening test.

Includes testing, interpretation, and a plan of action based on your results.

7

Microbial Organic Test (MOAT) $279

The MOAT is ideal for follow-up to the OAT and is often recommended by practitioners looking for a specific abnormality, to monitor certain microbial imbalances, or to assess treatment efficacy.

Includes testing, interpretation, and a plan of action based on your results.

Myco TOX $349

Mycotoxins are some of the most common toxins in our environment that may lead to serious health problems, including mycotoxin allergy immune system issues, inflammation, and cancer. Mycotoxins may grow on your food and in your home under warm and damp conditions. Because that may lead to uncomfortable acute and chronic symptoms, a compromised immune system, and serious health problems, it is absolutely crucial that you detoxify your body from mycotoxins and control mycotoxin exposure in your life. We can identify mycotoxin exposures and make recommendations for detoxification treatments that have been effective. MycoTOX screens for eleven different mycotoxins, from 40 species of mold, in one urine sample. MycoTOX is the most comprehensive mycotoxin test available.

Includes testing, interpretation, and a plan of action based on your results.

IgG Food Allergy Test + Candida $329

IgG (immunoglobulin G) test results can aid in the structuring of elimination diets that may relieve symptoms of many chronic neurological, gastrointestinal, and movement disorders. IgG antibodies are present in all body fluids and serve as a first line of defense against infections, but do not release histamine or produce familiar immediate hypersensitivity reaction of itching, hives, flushing, or sneezing associated with classic IgE allergic reactions. In Contrast, IgG antibodies may have more subtle immune effects, ranging from gastrointestinal bloating and nausea to headaches, mood changes, and fatigue. Unknowingly, people may continue to eat "offending" foods, not connecting delayed reactions to the foods eaten hours or days before.

By measuring IgG antibodies specific to antigenic proteins, it is possible to identify which foods may be responsible for hard-to-define symptoms. The 93 foods tested in the IgG Food Allergy Test with Candida include representatives of major food groups common the western diet. Elimination of IgG-positive foods can improve symptoms pf irritable bowel syndrome, autism, ADHD, cystic fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and epilepsy, according to numerous clinical studies.

Please note that the elimination diet is based only on IgG testing. To be safe, testing for IgE antibodies to food allergens should be considered PRIOR TO BEGINNING an ELIMINATION DIET. IF a patient has negative results for IgG antibodies, it does not necessarily mean he/she is negative for IgE, IgM, or IgA antibodies.

Mosiac Diagnostics has added Candida to the IgG Food Allergy Test. Candida problems are thought to be caused when the benign yeast form of Candida albicans or other Candida species mutates to its fungal form.

can overgrow portions or the intestinal mucosa, causing numerous symptoms. If allowed to grow out of balance, the toxins produced by Candida can create minute holes in the intestinal lining, leading to "leaky gut" syndrome. When Candida or its byproducts enter the blood, Candida contributes to a chronic inflammatory immune system response (CIRS). A wide range of disorders have been linked to Candida, including autism, multiple sclerosis, depression, and chronic fatigue. Use of oral antibiotics, oral contraceptives, chemotherapy, and anti-inflammatory steroids greatly increase susceptibility to Candida

The IgG Food Allergy Test + Candida helps determine if food reactions are contributing to physical/ mental symptoms.

Includes testing, interpretation, and a plan of action based on your results.
